SV	En alzo de zuidenwind zachtelijk waaide, meenden zij hun voornemen verkregen te hebben, en afgevaren zijnde, zeilden zij dicht voorbij Kreta henen.

ASV	And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete, close in shore.
BE	And when the south wind came softly, being of the opinion that their purpose might be effected, they let the ship go and went sailing down the side of Crete, very near to the land.
Byz	υποπνευσαντος δε νοτου δοξαντες της προθεσεως κεκρατηκεναι αραντες ασσον παρελεγοντο την κρητην
Darby	And [the] south wind blowing gently, supposing that they had gained their object, having weighed anchor they sailed close in shore along Crete.
ELB05	Als aber ein Südwind sanft wehte, meinten sie ihren Vorsatz erreicht zu haben, lichteten die Anker und fuhren dicht an Kreta hin.
LSG	Un léger vent du sud vint à souffler, et, se croyant maîtres de leur dessein, ils levèrent l'ancre et côtoyèrent de près l'île de Crète.
Pesh	ܘܟܕ ܢܫܒܬ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܬܝܡܢܐ ܘܤܒܪܘ ܕܡܡܛܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܨܒܝܢܗܘܢ ܪܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܚܕܪܝ ܩܪܛܐ ܀
Sch	Da nun ein schwacher Südwind wehte, meinten sie, sie hätten ihre Absicht erreicht, lichteten die Anker und fuhren nahe bei der Küste von Kreta hin.
Scriv	υποπνευσαντος δε νοτου δοξαντες της προθεσεως κεκρατηκεναι αραντες ασσον παρελεγοντο την κρητην
Web	And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.
Weym	And a light breeze from the south sprang up, so that they supposed they were now sure of their purpose. So weighing anchor they ran along the coast of Crete, hugging the shore.
